The economy achieves many good results
Mr. Nguyen Trong An, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ben Cat City, said that since the beginning of the year, the local socio-economic areas had developed stably, and national defense and security have been maintained. The city attracted 101 domestic investment projects with a total capital of nearly 1,413 billion VND and 7 foreign investment projects with a total capital of more than 45.8 million USD. The city has 6,200 domestic investment projects with a total capital of more than 69,000 billion VND and 850 foreign investment projects with a total capital of more than 10 billion USD.
The city speeds up the progress of making, appraising, and approving plans for selecting contractors, preparing investment projects, compensating, clearing land, and settling completed projects. Up to now, the city has approved 654 land clearance compensation files with a total amount of nearly VND 895 billion, reaching 42.9% of the total land clearance compensation for projects in the area; and has paid compensation for 625 files with a total amount of nearly VND 851 billion, reaching 41% of the total land clearance compensation for projects in the area. Along with that, the city issued a notice to reclaim land for 8/13 files belonging to the Thi Tinh riverside road project, from DH606 road to the boundary of Cau Do residential area project and Thi Tinh riverside park along Cau Do residential area...
The city continues to direct localities to effectively communicate and encourage organizations, businesses and people to join hands in implementing the investment project to upgrade red gravel and dirt roads in the city by 2030 according to the policy, in which the State and people work together. The city also organized the signing of agreements and launched a movement to compete to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital; regularly monitor and inspect the progress of key projects; and promptly implement compensation payments and site clearance immediately after the unit price is approved.

Accordingly, in urban planning and development, the city approved the list of contractors meeting technical requirements for 4 detailed planning documents of projects, such as: Urban renovation and embellishment areas in My Phuoc ward, An Dien commune's Public Cultural Center, An Tay Administrative and Public Cultural Center; completing the appraisal of bidding documents for the consulting package to establish regulations for urban architecture management in Ben Cat; at the same time, reviewing the planning of Ben Cat city with the planning of Binh Duong province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050...

The city coordinated with the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment to appraise the investment proposal dossier for the Tay An Tay urban area project and approved the policy to develop a project to propose recognizing Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province as a class-two urban area; continue to repair and renovate spontaneous housing areas and points in the area. The city continues to direct sectors and localities to strengthen construction management and urban order in the area.
By forecasting and identifying the difficulties and challenges the locality will face in 2024, from the beginning of the year, Ben Cat City leaders have directed and worked with sectors and localities to thoroughly grasp tasks, proactively remove difficulties and obstacles in land, planning, investment and business procedures, reform administrative procedures, support production and business, promote investment attraction; at the same time, focus on key projects, disbursement of public investment capital... This is the basis for the city to strive to complete the targets and plans for 2024.
