Marks from industrial parks
With the industrial production value of nearly VND43,100bil per year, Ben Cat is one of localities with strongest industrial development in Binh Duong province. Foundation of the gigantic development is thanks to instruction of taking industry to the Northern area and focus on industrial investment.
Therefore, the district has lured many various economic sectors. With a basic planning, Ben Cat has attracted many FDI projects such as US$600mil Ecolakes project invested by SetiaBecamex, $380mil tire plant invested by Kumho Tires Co.Ltd, $180mil Graft Paper Company, etc.
In the first quarter of 2013, despite disadvantages of economic downturn, more new projects were invested in industrial parks at Ben Cat district. They included Maruzen Foods Corporation’s $100mil beverage plant, $47mil auxiliary project of Japan’s Tomoku Company, and many more.
Eyeing sustainable development
At present, projects invested in Ben Cat district have proceeded as plan. Many new plants have put into operation, placing jobs for laborers. Specifically, Suntech Vina Company’s plant has been put into operation after only 4 months of construction whilst Maruzen Foods Corporation has hastened its progress to inaugurate in early 2014.
According to Ben Cat district People’s Committee, local industrial parks have contributed to attract investments and place jobs for local laborers.
Success in Ben Cat’s industrial development is thanks to appearance of industrial parks. This is an impetus to help Ben Cat develop sustainably. Promoting efficiency in the coming time, Ben Cat has kept offering favorable environment to lure local and foreign investment projects sustainably,
