In 2024, Ben Cat City Farmers' Union developed 127/80 new members, reaching 158% target assigned by the province; mobilized and guided the establishment of 5 Professional Farmers' Union Branches and 4 Professional Farmers' Union Groups. Up to now, the whole city has 15 professional farmer union branches with 174 members. Along with that, the City Farmers' Union mobilized 88.5 million VND of contributions to the Farmers' Support Fund, reaching 106% of the year's target. Regarding the movement of good farmers in production and business, at the beginning of the year, the city had 3,268 registered farming households, reaching 85% compared to households with members. As a result, at the end of the year, 2,773 member households achieved the title of good good farmers in production and business at all levels.
In addition, the City Farmers' Union increased communication and encouraged farmers to actively participate in the movement of farmers competing in production and good business, uniting to help each other improve income and sustainably reduce poverty, joining hands to build new rural areas; the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" integrated with the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"...
With the above good results, Ben Cat City Farmers' Union was awarded the emulation titles "Excellent Labor Collective" and "Excellent Task Completion" in 2024 by the Provincial Farmers' Union.
