Early January 10, Ben Cat town held a get-together to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2023) and the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2023, in attendance of Nguyen Minh Triet, former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Following the achievements of the past years, with the solidarity, efforts and determination of the entire Party Committee, in 2022, Ben Cat town’s socio-economic development continued having positive changes, reaching and exceeding the targets and tasks set out by the resolution. The district’s growth rate reached 12.5% with economic structure shifted in the right direction. Phu An commune was recognized as an advanced new-style rural commune towards building a model new-style rural commune, a "smart village”. The town completed procedures to submit them into the Government for consideration and establishment of Ben Cat city, An Dien and An Tay wards in association with focusing on perfecting criteria of a second-class city...
On this occasion, Ben Cat town held a ceremony to inaugurate and start construction of 3 key works, including the bridge across Thi Tinh river with total investment of VND 213.3 billion from the State budget and socialization; the local Public Administration Center with total investment of VND15 billion from the State budget; Hoa Loi secondary school with total investment of VND188 billion from the State budget.
With the above achievement, the Prime Minister awarded the Emulation Flag to the Party Committee, government and people of Ben Cat town for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in 2021...
