As of early 2015, Ben Cat town has a total of more than 100 animal husbandry farms. They include 25 pigs breeding farms with 10,000 pigs; 32 poultry breeding farms with nearly 310,000 fowls; 44 quails breeding farms with 294,000 quails and 7 cows breeding farms with more than 600 cows.
The town is also home to 10 animal husbandry farms under air-conditioned technique, comprising of 3 on breeding pigs and 7 on breeding chickens. In addition, there are 16 households getting involved in aquaculture with a total water face area of 107,440 square meters.
In the coming time, the town will attach special importance to developing hi-tech based animal husbandry models for better productivity and quality at market’s demand while raising locals’ income and improving their lives.
