On August 19, Ben Cat town’s Farmers Association held a conference to review the emulation movement of “Good farmers in production and business” in the 2012-2014 period.
More than 10,000 members of the town’s Farmers Associations at all levels over the past time registered for the title of good farmers at all levels. In 2014 alone, there have been nearly 5,000 households for this registration. Many local farming households have successful implemented large-scale production models with the annual income of several hundreds of millions of dong.
In the last tenure, there were 54 outstanding collectives and individuals in production and business awarded the certificates of merit by the People’s Committee of the town. And 576 outstanding farming households in production and business were also awarded the certificates of merit by the town’s Farmers Association.
The town’s Farmers Association will further promote the emulation movement of “Good farmers in production and business” in the 2014-2016 period, contributing to step by step improving the lives of the local farmers.
