Ben Cat town has a total of 4 communes implementing the national target program on new rural construction. All the four communes have so far reached criteria of the program. Among them, there has been one upgraded into the ward.

Possibly speaking, realizing the program over the past years significantly contributed to helping the town well fulfill tasks on socio-economic development. Particularly, the rate of laborers with regular jobs in the town increased to 90.1% in 2017 from 79.1% in 2012. The rate of poor households in the town under the province’s poverty line reduced to below 1%. The average income per capital of the local people in 2017 increased to VND102million from VND 93.2million in 2011.
Thanks to the efforts by the entire political system and people, all communes of the town have so far fulfilled criteria of the national target program on new rural construction. There are now 100% streets from the province to the center of the town and from the town to communes and wards have been covered by asphalt; 100% of rural paths with gravel…, creating advantageous conditions for the local socio-economic development and people’s traveling.
