Binh Duong Daily had an interview with Mr.Huynh Quang Thanh, the new chairman of Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA) to know more about BIFA’s key tasks during the new tenure right after the 2nd BIFA congress closed successfully.
What have you made to consolidate BIFA?
The new executive board of BIFA has
set up sub-committees on membership admission, market development…So far, BIFA
has admitted additional 10 members, bringing the total number of members to
nearly 100.
In the current difficult context, it is sure that furniture exporters will also face obstacles. What is his plan to help them promote their export activities?
One of BIFA’s initial tasks is to consolidate and boost trademark advertising for enterprises in this field.
BIFA has also suggested provincial Trade Promotion Center to inform enterprises about the High Point Fair to be held in the U.S state of North Carolina. Till now, BIFA’s five members, namely Hiep Long, Bao Hung, Hoang Nguyen, Tinh Hoa and Binh Phu, have registered to take part in the trade fair.
It is known that enterprises will enjoy more support when participating in the trade fair. Through the trade fair, they will have many opportunities to promote their trademarks and products…
According to you, what do furniture exporters need to be equipped when getting involved in business activities abroad?
Enghlish is very important in trade exchange with foreign partners. For better results, directors and executives need to have communication skills in English, especially know terms in the furniture sector.
Currently, you works as general director of a furniture enterprises cum chairman of
BIFA, so do you face any difficulties?
I will act as a bridge between enterprises, authorities and relevant agencies. I will also try my best to help furniture enterprises thoroughly grasp and well implement the State’s policies and laws while reflecting their aspirations and petitions to the local functional agencies for timely support.
Of course, I will neglect my own work if focusing on the common work. But, I feel happy because of making contributions to the community. Along with the above efforts to promote the development of BIFA, I will make more efforts to develop my company.
Thanks a lot!
