Buyers may save some as buying goods at Big C which applies policies of producers’ pricing Fresh and raw products of cattle, poultries, aquaculture, and vegetables have been all-out readied for daily use of housewives aside from ready-made foods. Ms. Kieu Ngoc Nga in Thu Dau Mot City told us about her two recent years doing shopping at Big C where she has been offered with various products and stalls including B-bar, B Bread, and Sushi counter among other foods.Besides, Big C has been offering various discount and promotional programs on monthly basis to improve competition.As a foreign enterprise (Casino France Group), Big C has paid much attention to developing Vietnamese products with active introduction of products to Vietnamese buyers.Thus, Big C has prioritized domestic products while the import products are only to diversify choices.Currently, 95% of products on sale by Big C are of Vietnamese origin with relatively high ratio of Vietnamese products in all fields.Big C has also cooperated with prestige producers of Vietnam to develop exclusive products of the distributor.By now, Big C has successful links to producers to offer nearly 600 brand names trusted by Vietnamese.As per each promotional program, millions of Vietnamese are oriented to Vietnamese products thanks to Smart Shopping Manual of Big C.So as to supply for Vietnamese product production at stable price and highest quality, Big C has developed projects of buying materials at sites nationwide.Thus, Big C has been more and more supported by consumers nationwide.Meantime, Big C Binh Duong has actively taken parts in fairs of supplying Vietnamese products to rural areas in a bid to introduce Vietnamese products in domestic and foreign markets.Under evaluation of Deputy Director of Department of Industry and Trade, Mr. Ho Van Binh, the newly market participant, Big C Binh Duong has made robust coordination with departments, sectors, and localities to organize mobile stalls of product sales in remote areas of the province, averagely 8 to 9 times a month. These have contributed to introduction of Vietnamese products to consumers and implement movement of “Vietnamese prioritizes the use of Vietnamese products” in the province.Community targetsBig C is aiming for green environment where the first ever solar power systems have been established under Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) and LOTUS Certification of Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC).Such system has been implemented at Big C in Di An Town to offer capacity of 212kWh, consuming over VND 11 billion of investment. Annually, the system may produce 230,000 kWh or 7% of total energy consumption, helping to reduce emission by over 150 tons of carbonic and saving up 30% of energy use comparing to common commercial centers.Big C has been aiming for sustainable development to become a model enterprise for the community.In two recent typhoons, so as to share the loss of local people, Big C has called upon its staffs and customers to donate in forms of cash and goods.
