As designed, a solar energy system with the capacity of 212kWp, capitalized at more than VND11bil has been installed on the roof of Big C Di An’s parking lot area. This system has been directly connected with electric grid of this building and produced about 230,000kWh per year (equivalent to 7% of total consumed electric output of this trade center), helping reduce discharge of over 150 tons CO2 per year. In addition, this building has been built on criteria of LEED and LOTUS certificates.
Along with other systems of green technology, Big C Di An will save about 30% of consumed electricity from other trade centers. Specifically, the entire lighting system at this building helps save 35% of energy, etc.
An ideal shopping area
Big C Di An supermarket and Green Square trade center are located in a building with one underground parking and two stories for trade area and one story for office.
Aside from conveniences for office, parking lot, etc, Big C Di An’s 5,000sqm business area comprises nearly 40,000 items, 95% of which are domestically-made commodities. Meanwhile, trade corridor for lease covers nearly 4,500 sqm with more than 40 stalls under many various fields such as fashion, gastronomy, entertainment, etc.
In addition, a free parking lot covers more than 9,000sqm with the capacity of over 200 automobiles and 1,200 motorbikes.
Big C Di An supermarket and Green Square trade center are expected to create a modern and young image for Di An town and spur goods exchange and offer more shopping options for local people.
On the occasion of the upcoming opening ceremony, Big C Di An and Green Square trade center will grant VND100mil to local poor students.
