Biggest Vietnam-China Trade Fair to open on Nov.11

This will be the biggest fair so far covering 900sq.m. with 617 pavilions plus a food court area.

In addition to traditional products, businesses will showcase seafood, electronics, construction materials, fertilizers, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and rubber.

The organizing board will also allocate an area for Lao Cai to exhibit its specialties and socio-economic achievements since 1991.

The fair is an opportunity for businesses from both countries to promote their products, seek partners and expand their markets.

A series of activities will be held, including talks between Lao Cai provincial leaders and a delegation from Yunnan, China; a conference on trade and investment promotion; an economic agreement signing ceremony; and an exchange on promoting trade through Lao Cai International Border Gate.

The organizing board expects that 17 economic contracts worth about US$180 million, will be signed during the fair, up US$66 million compared to the fair in 2009.
