After more than a year (from July 2014), electronic tax payment service was applied at 63/63 provinces, cities, and 700 districts nationwide. There are now over 419,000 enterprises registering this service with tax agencies, over 323,000 enterprises registering this service successfully with banks. Total collected tax revenue via electronic tax payment service from beginning of the year reached VND41,000 billion. In Binh Duong, by now, there are 21 commercial banks participating in electronic tax payment service.
Electronic tax payment service has brought many benefits to taxpayers, tax authorities and banks. Taxpayers can do payment anytime, anywhere (24/7); track their payment, and use other preferential bank services. Tax authorities are enable get accurate information of taxpayers to reduce error adjustment.
According to provincial Tax Department, commercial banks participating in electronic tax payment service will be assisted directly by General Department of Taxation.
