At the reception, Mr. Preben Enef informed provincial leaders of the group's progress of building its over US$1billion factory in Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III). On behalf of the group's leaders, he thanked the local government for creating all favorable conditions for the group to implement the project. The province has prepared infrastructure facilities, expanding DT.746B street - the arterial one leading to VSIP III and connecting with other important traffic routes while quickly completing procedures for granting working permits to facilitate LEGO's foreign experts to work in Binh Duong.
For the group to be able to put its factory into operation in June 2024 on schedule, Mr. Preben Elnef wanted the province to quickly fulfill procedures for land, connect to the 110KV power grid, deploy solar power, make appraisal of technical design of fire prevention and fighting, etc., so that the group can deploy the project as soon as possible.
Noting recommendations by the LEGO Group, Mr. Minh said that leaders of the province, departments, sectors in the province are particularly interested in and making efforts to speed up procedures related to LEGO's project. Binh Duong will have active coordination to complete the procedures for land use rights in March 2023 so that the group can implement the next steps of the project. The province will also support the group in giving its recommendations to the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Southern Power Corporation to speed up the appraisal of fire prevention and fighting, and connect the power grid... so that its project can be deployed smoothly and successfully. Binh Duong province will always accompany, listen to aspirations, support the investor in removing difficulties for effective investment and production activities, greatly contributing to the local sustainable development in the coming time.
