Binh Duong advocates development of fruit orchards

Particularly, the province will support 100% of nurslings and 50% of agricultural materials for cultivating new fruit orchards or upgrading old ones.

The province will also support 50% of agricultural materials and VND4mln per hectare per year for intensive cultivation of fruit orchards in the province; provide all costs for training courses on sci-tech advancements, visits to the effective models, consultancy on intellectual property; provide farmers with 50% of cost for promoting their products and consumption market via the mass media.

For fruit-growing households in Thuan An, the province will provide subsidy of 70% of agricultural materials and money in cash for households whose fruit orchards only get 60% of productivity and subsidy of 100% of agricultural materials and money in cash for those without harvest. This is provincial People’s Committee’s newly-issued regulation under the Decision No.45/2012/QD-UBND on regulating “Some policies to develop Binh Duong’s fruit orchards in the 2013-2016 period”.
