At the reception, Mr.Preben Elnef informed provincial leaders about the progress of constructing the group’s new factory in Binh Duong as well as its obstacles, especially regarding the approval of 1/5000 and 1/2000 planning of Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park III that is still slow, the issue of land handover to the group. He hoped that Binh Duong will soon solve the above obstacles so that the group can soon establish a legal entity in Vietnam to build a factory and recruit laborers. He said that it is expected that the group’s factory built in Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park III will come into operation in 2024.
Vo Hoang Ngan, Director of provincial Department of Construction also gave a detail report on the 1/5000 and 1/2000 planning progress of Vietnam - Singapore III Industrial Park. Mr. Ngan said that some changes in the Construction Law led to the delay in progress. Provincial Department of Construction is making efforts in coordinating with agencies and departments to speed up the progress of the project while committing to quickly complete all procedures to fulfill the 1/5000 and 1/2000 planning of Vietnam - Singapore III Industrial Park on June 30.
After hearing ideas from leader of Lego Group, Mr. Loi said that Binh Duong realizes that this is an important project of Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular. The Prime Minister has also directed Binh Duong to try its best to create all favorable conditions to soon complete procedures, supporting Lego Group to soon put its factory into operation. Recently, provincial leaders have also carried out a field trip to Lego Group's project in Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park III.
On behalf of provincial leaders, provincial Party Committee Secretary said that in a fierce spirit, Binh Duong has committed to completing the 1/5000 and 1/2000 planning of Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park III by June 30. Regarding land handover, the province has two options: In the phase 1, the province will allocate 22 hectares; In the phase 2, the province will continue allocating the remaining 22 hectares. However, Binh Duong will try to allocate 44 hectares at once to Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park III (including land that has not been cut off rubber trees). He also wanted to have such regular round-table discussions to have the fastest solution for problems, creating the best conditions for the group’s project to soon come into operation.
