In 2017, up to August, Binh Duong Customs Department has attracted 63 new businesses coming for customs procedures. Tax revenue from these companies was more than VND110 billion. To attract new businesses coming for customs procedures, Binh Duong Customs Department has implemented solutions, such as continuous administrative reform, simplification of customs procedures, thereby helping businesses to be more convenient in import and export; actively cooperated with related departments and sectors to update information on newly established companies to set up contacts and support in export and import activities.
Generally, over 25 years of operation, the number of business registering procedures, export-import turnover and tax revenue of Binh Duong Customs Department has been constantly increasing. In 1992, with 27 businesses, the revenue was only VND4.1 billion, while in 2016, Binh Duong Customs attracted 5,213 enterprises on procedures, revenue reached VND11,177 billion, exceeding the ordinance target.
