Binh Duong Customs Department said that from the beginning of the year to the middle of April, 2020, the unit has applied appropriate professional measures, organized many channels to collect and screen information of key businesses, subjects showing signs of doubt, detected many violations of enterprises through anti-smuggling, trade frauds and post-inspection. As a result, Binh Duong Customs Department has decided to set a tax and collect and pay over VND 6.9 billion to the budget.
According to Binh Duong Customs Department, the cases of violations are mainly incorrect declaration of commodity codes, tax rates of imported goods, wrong time limit for carrying out customs procedures, not re-importing goods at the registered time. ... To combat loss of revenue and improve compliance of enterprises, in the second quarter, the unit will focus its forces to handle cases arising at the end of 2019 to 2020; conducting specialized inspections to combat frauds originating from exported goods and illegally conveying goods.
