Binh Duong Customs Department recovers nearly 27 billion VND of tax debts

In the first nine months of 2022, Binh Duong Customs Department continued to direct its customs branches to perform debt freezing and relief in accordance with Resolution 94 and Law on Tax Administration No. 38. Besides, the Department also implemented Decision No. 419 of the General Department of Customs on assigning targets for collection and handling of overdue tax debts in 2022 with a total target of nearly 108 billion VND in 2022. As a result, the customs authorities recovered and processed an amount of nearly 27 billion VND, the outstanding debt has been transferred to bad debts, pending debts was over 80 billion VND.

In the fourth quarter, the Provincial Customs Department continued to review and accurately classify debt groups according to instructions of the Process of managing tax debts and other revenues in order to speed up the progress of tax debt collection and settlement according to the law.
