Leaders of Binh Duong Customs Department said that according to the directive of Ministry of Finance and General Department of Customs, the department developed and issued a plan on control of drugs and precursor substances in their operation areas. Accordingly, the department directed heads of units to apply professional measures, cooperate with other units inside and outside the sector to well monitor the prevention and combat of smuggling, illegal transportation and production of drugs and pre-substances in localities under their management. Absolutely do not allow customs officers to lend a hand to cover acts of smuggling, illegal transportation and production of drugs and precursor substances within the assigned management area.
In addition, Binh Duong Customs Department directed specialized units to strictly control exposure types and items to being taken advantage of to hide drugs.
