According to Binh Duong Customs Department, the province has 22 bonded warehouses. In the first quarter of 2018, the total number of import and export customs declarations through bonded warehouses under the management of Binh Duong Customs Department was 11,771 declarations, with the turnover of over $400 million.
To ensure the customs management, in recent years, leaders of Binh Duong Customs Department has regularly directed sub-departments to strengthen inspection and review operating conditions of bonded warehouses to evaluate the overall business efficiency and management of bonded warehouse enterprises in the province, thereby to adjust and overcome shortcomings. In addition, the department researched, developed management software of goods into bonded warehouse and officially deployed the warehouse management software in the province. The software has been run stably and effectively, helped the business community to be more convenient in declaration and management of goods, helped customs agencies monitor and supervise more closely goods into and out of bonded warehouses.
