In order to ensure the objectivity and authenticity of collected information, Binh Duong Customs Department cooperated with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) - Ho Chi Minh City branch to measure time for import and export goods clearance in 2019.The official time for data collection was 6 working days in a row, from Monday 7 Oct to Sat 12 Oct. The time for monitoring and exploiting data on information technology systems to synthesize and collect missing data is until 12 Nov 2019.
Requirements for measurement data must be adequate, detailed; the recording must ensure objectivity, be reflected in real time the actual steps of professional operations in accordance with customs procedures. The measurement results will be compared with the corresponding measurement results in 2018. On that basis, provincial customs will analyze, evaluate the results, and work out solutions to reducing clearance time for import and export goods in 2019 and orientations for the following years.
