According to Binh Duong Customs Department, on 16 Oct 2017, the department piloted electronic tax collection through banks and 24/7 customs clearance according to Decision No. 2082/QD-TCHQ on 21 Jun 2017 at 5 banks, including BIDV, VietinBank, MBBank, VietcomBank and Techcombank. At present, 13 banks in Binh Duong cooperate with the department to implement electronic tax collection.
Up to May 15, 2018, total tax revenue through banks was VND 300.7 billion, with 4,220 transactions, accounting for 5.3% of total state budget revenue collected by Binh Duong customs. Binh Duong Customs Department has the sixth largest tax revenue and the fourth largest transaction volume compared to other provinces in the country. In order to achieve the above results, Binh Duong Customs Department cooperated with commercial banks and state treasuries in the implementation process in order to actively support and solve difficulties of enterprises.
In the coming time, Binh Duong Customs Department will continue to focus on measures to remove difficulties of enterprises in order to create more favorable conditions for enterprises, promote the benefits and superiority of a modern tax collection mode on the internet in line with the trend of today's technological revolution.
