According to leaders of Binh Duong Customs Department, a highlight of administrative reform was that the department had actively researched and developed 37 online public services (including 28 branch-level services, 9 department-level services), thereby contributing to faster customs clearance of goods for enterprises. Among these, 6 public services have been performed at level 4 (completely without filing papers); the remaining 31 services were at level 3 (receiving results at customs offices). The conversion of administrative procedures from direct contacts into online public services on the official website has created favorable conditions for business import and export activities in the province.
In the first 6 months, Binh Duong Customs received 2,016 documents with 33 types of public service. Thanks to online public services, businesses can reduce travel costs, save time and papers, contributing to the transparency of customs and business operations. In addition, from the beginning of this year, the department has organized effectively activities to enhance the customs – enterprise partnership.
To continue facilitating ort and export activities, from now until the end of the year, Binh Duong Customs Department will follow closely the directives of General Department of Customs, Ministry of Finance and objectives of Resolution No. 19/NQ-CP dated Apr 28th 2016 of the Government on key tasks and measures to continue improving the business environment, enhancing national competitiveness. Accordingly, the department will focus on administrative procedure reform, move difficulties for enterprises, prevent goods blockage affecting business activities.
Binh Duong Customs Department will strengthen coordination between banks – treasury – customs to collect taxes on VNACCS / VCIS, ensure the tax collection is fast, conveniently and accurately to enterprises.
