On October 5, Luu Phuoc Loc, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA), received and had a meeting with the delegation from Ministry of Industry and Trade of Laos, headed by Head of Department of Industry and Craft under Laos Minister of Industry and Trade, to learn about association operations, methods and experience as well as the organization of exports.
At the meeting, Mr. Loc affirmed the role of BIFA in proposing opinions of enterprises to the authorities and supporting the development of wood enterprises. At present, Laos Ministry of Industry and Trade is preparing for the establishment of Laos Wood Processing Association. BIFA is willing to support Wood Processing Association and timber enterprises of Laos.
At the end of the meeting, Laos Department of Industry and Craft’s Head thanked BIFA for sharing their valuable experiences; At the same time, looked forward to cooperation and support from BIFA so that Laos Wood Processing Association would be more effective.
