On the afternoon of December 10, Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee attended an online seminar on friendship and cooperation between Binh Duong province and Emilia-Romagna region in Italy while promoting investment from Italy to the province.

The event was attended by the Italian Consulate General in HCM city; leaders of relevant sectors, departments, provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, Becamex IDC, enterprises, entrepreneurs and around 100 Italian investors.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Dung briefly introduced the local socio-economic achievements over the past time while saying that Binh Duong spoke highly of cooperation between Emilia-Romagna region and the province in connecting with Italian partners, contributing to boosting the cooperation relations between the two sides.
Since the establishment of friendship and cooperation in 2013, the two sides have actively strengthened cooperation activities in industrial manufacture, tourism and services. In 2015, the two sides opened the Emilia-Romagna Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the province.
“We hope that the province will further receive positive cooperation from the Emilia-Romagna region, the Union of the Chambers of Commerce of Emilia-Romagna region, the Italian-Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce in Torino, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Italia, the Italian Consulate General in HCM city and the European Business Association in Vietnam in order to enhance bilateral cooperation and expand multi-faceted cooperation between the two sides in 2021 and in the next years. This aims to create strides for the local deep integration process and make a momentum for new development amid Industry 4.0”, Mr.Dung said.
On this occasion, the Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) between Becamex IDC, the Union of the Chambers of Commerce of Emilia-Romagna region and the Italian-Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce was also signed in the online form.
