Binh Duong Green Book 2011 honors businesses

In these days, the last preparations for Binh Duong Green Book 2011 are under completion on the World Environment Day (June 5).

Earlier, the provincial People’s Committee issued a Decision No.1139/QD-UBND on categorizing and announcing green book relating to businesses excelling environmental protection requirements. Under the decision, the entire province has 35 businesses excelling environmental protection 2011.

VISIP I in Thuan An town has many businesses listed in the green book. Especially, most businesses reached high marks of environmental protection. They included Roussel Vietnam Company, Stada Vietnam Ltd., Vietnam Pakerizing Ltd… Businesses relating to pharmaceutical product industry account for a large part in the green book.

This is the first time Binh Duong builds green book relating to environmental protection. According to Vo Thi Ngoc Hanh, vice director of the local department of Natural Resources and Environment said that the green book aims at honoring businesses and encouraging them to excel environmental protection. Besides, depending on real situation, every two year or every year, the local administration will assess and categorize businesses to supplement and adjust list for the green book in the following years.
