On the morning of August 8, the Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA) held the 2024 International Woodworking and Machinery Exhibition's opening ceremony at the WTC Expo Binh Duong International Exhibition Center. The event had the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; leaders of departments and branches in the province, wood processing enterprises in Binh Duong and many provinces and cities across the country.

This fair attracted the participation of 800 booths of 150 businesses introducing raw materials, wood types, materials and means, equipment and technology used and applied in the wood processing industry today. Notably, machinery and equipment manufacturing enterprises from the US, Canada, China, Singapore, etc. introduced many modern, automated, and highly digitalized equipment and production lines, improving production capacity and responding well to the greening process of the economy.
Binh Duong is currently one of the localities with the country's most developed wood processing industry, with annual export turnover accounting for 35-45% of the value of Vietnam's wood processing industry. In the first 7 months of 2024 alone, Binh Duong's wood processing industry achieved an export turnover of more than 3.5 billion USD, an increase of 22.8% over the same period, and is leading in nearly 20 key export industries of the province.
The fair will take place from August 8 to 11.
