Safe and effective operation
Binh Duong Electricity Company has set out measures to supply electricity properly in a bid to ensure energy stability for local socio-economic development. Accordingly, to assure safe operation of the grid, Binh Duong Electricity Company has actively tapped circle networks among local transformer stations 110kV to allocate supply of electricity when problems happen
Aside from the mentioned method, Binh Duong Electricity Company has constantly maintained equipments, transformer stations, installed more protective facilities and among others. Therefore, the company has minimized troubles and maintained stable electricity supply.
Implementing the provincial People’s Committee’s Plan No.01/KH-BTDTKD dated March 30, 2012 on launching electric thrift work in 2012, the company worked with local authorities and agencies to mobilize and disseminate electric thrift to clients and households.
As a result, in the past year the company won remarkable results, saving 112 million kWh, winning 153.8% of its plan.
Price stability and turnover increase
By many various measures of ending the sale of electricity through the meter total, investing in grid networks, and many more, Binh Duong Electricity Company reached nearly VND7,570bil in total revenue of electricity business, increasing 23.8% against 2011.
In addition, the company solved and checked and took over 568 works of grid lines and transformer stations with the total output of 370MVA, catering for the rising demand on energy.
Assessing the achievements done in the past year, Electricity of Vietnam chairman Pham Le Thanh, said “Binh Duong Electricity Company’s overall results have contributed to common victory of the province and EVN. This shows that Binh Duong is leading the whole country in rate of electrification, contributing to spurring modernization and industrialization, investment attraction and socio-economic development. EVN pledges to ensure adequate supply of electricity to help Binh Duong and other localities reinforce investment appeal and industrial development”.
