All the things are advantages for Binh Duong new city to lure projects in the urban development field.
The Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City project is seen as a top real estate project in Binh Duong new city with a total investment capital of US$1.2 bln. The real estate project is developed by a joint venture between Vietnam’s Becamex IDC and Japan’s Tokyu Corporation. Once completion, it will provide 7,500 apartments and houses, plus recreational and service facilities, and offices for lease, contributing to the sustainable development of Binh Duong New City.
This is now the province's biggest urban project and the biggest FDI project. It is known that the joint venture has applied the Japanese Tokyu Corporation’s experience in infrastructure and urban development to the Tokyu Garden City project, aiming to create a hi-quality living space covered by Japanese and Vietnamese style. According to Toshiaki Koshimura, Chairman of Japan’s Tokyu Corporation, this will be not only Vietnam’s most modern urban area, creating a highlight for Binh Duong new city in the future, but also create a motivation for Binh Duong to absorb FDI capital from Japan. The corporation has also spoken highly of Binh Duong new city and affirms that they will be a wonderful urban center of Vietnam in the future.
At the groundbreaking ceremony of the project, Le Thanh Cung, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee also spoke highly of the capacity of the investor and the significance of the project. He added that Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City played an important role in developing provincial economy and society. Once completion, the project will greatly contribute to Binh Duong’s process of modernization and industrialization.
