On September 13, Binh Duong Power Company (PCBD), said that it is implementing the electricity price reduction, the 5th phase of electricity reduction for customers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. Accordingly, PCBD reduces electricity bills by 10% (before VAT) on electricity bills for electricity users who are factories or production facilities located in Binh Duong province that are implementing social distancing according to the Directive 16 of the Prime Minister of the province confirming the list of customers in the province who are eligible for the 5th phase of electricity reduction under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The government at the time of August 25, 2021 is maintaining production in the fields of processing and preserving seafood and aquatic products; processing and preserving vegetables and fruits; producing export goods with an export turnover of over USD 1 billion in 2020. In order to ensure transparency and accuracy without mistakes and lack of beneficiaries of electricity bill reduction and list of factories and production facilities eligible for electricity bill reduction, PCBD has sent a written request to the People's Committee accordingly regarding the support period for electricity bill reduction of 3 months from the September electricity billing period to the end of the November 2021 electricity billing period. It is known that PCBD has previously supported electricity price reduction and electricity bill reduction due to the impact of Covid-19 in the 3rd and 4th phase by the amount of VND 69.2 billion.
