The Consulate General of Vietnam in Laos’Pakse has coordinated with Champasak province to organize a conference to promote investment cooperation in trade, tourism and agriculture between 6 localities of Vietnam and 4 Southern provinces of Laos.

Binh Duong’s delegation at the conference
Representatives of 6 Vietnamese provinces, including Binh Duong, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Tri, Kon Tum and Lam Dong and 4 southern provinces of Laos, including Champasak, Xekong, Attapeu and Salavan together with a large number of delegates from corporations and businesses of the two countries attended the conference. The delegation of Binh Duong province was led by Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.
At the conference, leaders of 6 localities in Vietnam, 4 localities in the the Southern region of Laos and representatives of large-scale enterprises provided information on potential, advantages, preferential policies to attract investment and proposed contents on cooperation between the two sides while proposing specific measures to improve the efficiency of investment cooperation, especially in the fields of trade, tourism and agriculture in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Danh affirmed that the conference wanted to share experience as well as strengthening the cooperation relationship between Binh Duong and 4 provinces in the southern region of Laos.
