Binh Duong province offers vibrant promotions, the number of businesses submitting online notifications increases sharply

In 2024, promotional activities in Binh Duong province have taken place actively and diversely with the active participation of businesses. In particular, the trend of submitting promotional notifications online is increasingly popular, demonstrating the convenience and efficiency of this method.

Sale promotion is considered one of the important strategies to help businesses attract customers, increase sales and improve competitiveness in the market.

Therefore, many businesses in Binh Duong province have launched attractive promotional programs, especially during Tet festival and national holidays such as International Women's Day March 8, National Day September 2,...

Over the first 9 months of 2024, Binh Duong Provincial Department of Industry and Trade received 36,766 applications of online promotion through the National Public Service Portal, an increase of 64% over the same period in 2023. The strong growth in the number of online filings shows that businesses are increasingly favoring this method because of its convenience, speed and cost savings.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, representative of a business in Thu Dau Mot city, shared: "Previously, submitting promotional notices took a lot of time and effort. Since switching to online filing, we only need a few simple steps to complete the procedure. This helps businesses save time and focus on other business activities."

In addition to creating favorable conditions for businesses to carry out promotions, the Department of Industry and Trade also strengthens supervision to ensure that promotional programs are carried out in accordance with regulations. From the beginning of 2024, the Department issued Plan 331/KH-SCT on monitoring compliance with regulations on promotional activities in the province. The Department has not detected any violations and has not been handled.

However, besides the achieved results, promotional activities in the province have some limitations. Many businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, still have difficulty accessing information on legal regulations on promotions.

In order to improve the effectiveness of promotional activities, in the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Duong will continue to enhance information and dissemination of legal regulations on promotions; at the same time, increase support for businesses in implementing administrative procedures related to promotions. The Department will also coordinate with relevant agencies to strengthen market inspection and supervision, promptly detect and strictly handle violations of promotional regulations.

With the efforts of the authorities and the active participation of the business community, promotional activities in Binh Duong province will continue to develop in a healthy and transparent manner, contributing to facilitating economic growth and protecting consumer rights.
