On Oct 23rd, a ceremony to grant investment certificates of the 3rd stage 2015 to 38 FDI enterprises took place at Provincial Administrative Center.
38 enterprises receiving investment certificates invested a total amount of $531.82 million in the province. Among these, 23 projects were newly registered with a total capital of $203.1 million; and 15 projects were added more capital with a total amount of $328.7 million. These companies were mainly in industries of timber production, real estate, pipes, paper, plastic products, rubber products, cold storage, footwear, sport equipment…

Speaking at the ceremony, Tran Van Nam, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, said in the first 10 months, the province absorbed more than $1.6 billion of FDI capital, achieving 163% target, and was 40% higher than the same period of 2014. Accordingly, the province licensed 165 new investment projects with total capital of over $910 million; 107 added more capital with a total amount of nearly $722 million. By Oct 15th 2015, total accumulated project number was 2,548 with total capital of over $22 billion. In addition, Mr. Nam affirmed, the province had attracted large projects that were consistent with provincial orientations and industrial planning for auxiliary industry development in order to satisfy the needs of local as well as national development.
