Yesterday of March 7, Steering Board of vocational training for rural residents held a meeting to sum up two years of the project. Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Huynh Vanh Nhi attended and addressed the meeting.
As reported, the Project named “Vocational training for rural residents until 2020”, 110 vocational courses have been open in two years in fields of rubber tree planting techniques, hair dressing, ornament trees, computer repairs, catering, mushroom planting, veterinary work, etc. About 80% of the trainees were employed after the courses.
However, the vocational tasks are in difficulties due to low qualification of trainees during short-term courses only. To promote the vocational effieciency in 2012 and years to come, Deputy Chairman Huynh Van Nhi suggested levels and agencies to concentrate on communication and consultancy of rural force training. He called for in-field survey to promote the training models in pivotal communes by 2013.
