On the afternoon of March 18, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired the 87th meeting of provincial People's Committee, in attendance of Bui Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of departments, agencies, districts and cities.

The meeting reviewed 14 important issues, including the draft proposal to the Standing Committee of provincial People's Council on adjusting the 2025 State budget expenditure estimates; the draft decision on regulations for protecting the road infrastructure of Ho Chi Minh city’s belt road 3 at the section passing through Binh Duong province, the My Phuoc - Bau Bang road section from DT741 to National Highway 13 and the North Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang arterial road; the 1/5,000-scale general construction planning project for North Tan Uyen 1 Industrial Park, which will establish the province's first specialized mechanical industrial park; the draft regulations on extracurricular teaching and tutoring in the province…
Regarding the draft regulations on extracurricular teaching and tutoring in the province, provincial Department of Education and Training stated that after the Ministry of Education and Training’s Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDĐT takes effect, the province will further provide supplementary education for three groups of students: gifted students, 9th and 12th-graders and those with unsatisfactory academic performance. This program will be funded by provincial State budget and be free of charge, in accordance with regulations.
The meeting also approved the draft guideline on criteria, procedures for evaluation and policy implementation for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers affected by the restructuring process under the Government’s Decree No. 178/2024/NĐ-CP and provincial People's Council’s Resolution No. 02/2025/NQ-HĐND. According to the draft, the Party committees, authorities, heads of agencies, organizations and units must conduct review and evaluation of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers under their management. This assessment will be based on their performance over the past three years to ensure appropriate consideration and solution...
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Minh basically agreed with the contents of the proposals. He also requested relevant departments and agencies to continue researching and supplementing the legal basis in accordance with relevant regulations to facilitate early approval.
