Binh Duong still has lot of spare grounds for Korean businesses to make investment, develop

On the afternoon of August 22, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation received Shin Choong IL, the new Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh city. The event was attended by  Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

At the reception, Mr. Loi thanked Korean investors for choosing Binh Duong to invest in production and business; thanked the Korean community for contributing to the overall development of the province over the past time. With the good foundation, provincial Party Committee Secretary affirmed that there is still a lot of spare grounds for Korean businesses to successfully invest in Binh Duong.

Mr. Shin Choong IL expressed his delight at the good development between the two countries Vietnam - Korea. The new Consul General wished that Binh Duong province would further support Korean businesses to invest and operate effectively in the province; create favorable conditions for the Korean community to live, study and work here.

At the reception, the two sides discussed many issues related to the production and business activities of Korean enterprises as well as planning to hold a meeting between provincial leaders and the Korean business community in Binh Duong so that the locality can promptly remove obstacles, creating favorable conditions for Korean enterprises to operate more effectively in production and business in the coming time.

Korea currently ranks fifth among 65 countries and territories investing in Binh Duong, with 763 projects, total investment capital of US$ 3.3 billion. Their projects focus on industries of auxiliary products for automotive industry, healthcare, cosmetics, food processing, textile-garment, footwear...
