Binh Duong to build two airports to sevice trade and tourism by 2020
Traffic and Transportation Development Research Center under Research and Strategy Institute of Ministry of Transportation just proposed to Provincial People’s Committee Inspection Council the project of universal traffic and transportation planning in Binh Duong Province until 2020 and vision to 2030 on 4-level roads and streets, water habors and local ports, and combined transportation.In the proposal, two airports for trade and tourism are expected to be on foundation of the two degraded military airports in Ben Cat and Dau Tieng. The 4C airports are to be completed before 2030.“Ministry of Defense has re-allocated 50ha of land to local authority to build airports,” informed Deputy Chairman of Dau Tieng People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Phuong Linh.Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, cum Chairman of the Inspection Council, Mr. Tran Van Nam called upon the contractors to plan for travel needs of local people when the socio-economy develops to higher position by 2020.Reported by Duy Chi – Translated by Vi Bao
