Provincial People’s Committee has just issued the 2015 provincial plan on collective economic development.
Accordingly, the province’s orientations for economic development are to improve the operational effectiveness of collective economic models in association with new rural construction and other socio-economic development programs; promote models on cooperative economy under the trend of industrialization and modernization; replicate outstanding cooperative models in all aspects in accordance with the 2012 Law on Cooperatives…
The objectives of the plan are to set up additional 10 cooperatives by 2015; reach an annual growth of 5% and above in collective economy; obtain a monthly average income per laborer in cooperatives of VND4.5mln-VND5mln; have 90% of cooperatives joining provincial Alliance of Cooperatives; get 55%, 40% and below 5% of good, moderately good; average and weak cooperatives, respectively.
Under the plan, provincial People’s Committee has asked for relevant agencies to closely cooperate with provincial Alliance of Cooperatives in suggesting some suitable policies to the 2012 Law on Cooperative and the central regulations on collective economic development. Sectors and localities in the province have also been ordered to make specific plans on collective economic development by 2015 in accordance with the plan.
