Binh Duong wants Japanese businesses to boost investment

On October 12, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of some sectors received a delegation of leaders and businesses from Nagano province’s Komoro city in Japan, led by city mayor Toshihiro Koizumi.

At the reception, Mr.Toshihiro Koizumi expressed his impression at the industrial development of Binh Duong, especially VSIP 1 and 2 with green, clean infrastructure facilities at investors’ demand. He also knew that Binh Duong has constantly improved the local investment climate with preferential policies for investors. Hence, he pledged to introduce more Japanese investors to Binh Duong.

For his part, Mr.Liem said that Binh Duong has ranked third among provinces and cities nationwide in FDI attraction. The province has so far absorbed more than 200 Japanese businesses with a total registered capital of US$5.1billion, ranking second among countries and territories making investment in the province. He wanted that Japanese investors will continue selecting Binh Duong for their investment in the coming time. The province will also always create favorable conditions for investors to work effectively.
