A seminar on environmental protection measures took place at Lucky Square Convention Center in TDM city’s Phu Tan ward on November 11.
Attending the event were Tran Van Nam, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of provincial sectors and Japanese partners.
Binh Duong is now a locality with flexible industrial growth, so environmental protection to facilitate investors’ development is a great challenge for the province. According to statistics, Japan is a country with the biggest amount of investment capital in Binh Duong. The province has so far attracted 225 Japanese-invested projects with a total investment capital of US$4.693bln.
The seminar absorbed 60 province-based enterprises together with representatives of the local authorities and 9 Japan’s top enterprises in the field of environmental treatment and protection. Its objective was to put forward the most suitable environmental protection technologies to Binh Duong.
Addressing the seminar, Mr.Nam said that this was a good chance to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Binh Duong and Japanese enterprises in the domain of environmental protection and treatment, helping investors feel secure when making investment in the province and creating a good living environment for the local people…
