Today of Oct. 5, Binh Duong provincial Young Entrepreneurs Society holds its 4th congress for the 2012-2015 term. The society has so far developed strongly. On the occasion, the society chairman Mai Huu Tin cum chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association had an interview with Binh Duong Newspaper about the society’s activity and development.
As a chairman of the provincial Young Entrepreneurs Society, what do you think of the society’s operation in the last term?
Possibly speaking, the last term (2009-2012) appeared tough economic circumstances, making many businesses suffer the global economic turmoil. However, the society has made efforts to affirm its role. In the face of many challenges, the society’s members have promoted their creation, competitive capacity and set out sustainable strategy. In addition, the provincial government’s constant attention and facilitation have created trust and impetus and encouragement to help businesses turn challenges into opportunities, contributing to affirm local enterprises’ position in local and foreign markets.
Through 3 congresses, how does the society develop, sir?
The society has so far had nearly 300 members with the total turnover of VND40,000bil, generating jobs for 30,000 laborers and contributing to social work and community support. In the past term, most of the local big enterprises are representatives of local entrepreneurs’ community, contributing to enhance further the society’s image and prestige for local leaders and entrepreneurs. Moreover, the society’s operation in the past year developed in quality and quantity and was appreciated as one of the country’s strongest societies in the movement of young entrepreneurs. The society has set up 2 sub-societies in Di An town and Ben Cat district.
