After 40 years of liberation and nearly 30 years of renewal, Binh Duong is proud of its done results. Promoting Song Be province’s achievements, Binh Duong provincial party committee and people have determined to overcome challenges and mobilize general strength to implement renewal.
In order to develop economy, Binh Duong considers industry as a breakthrough foundation by building central industrial parks in attachment to industrialization and urbanization. Thanks to well-invested infrastructure facilities, the locality has over the past years attracted numerous investment projects with more than US$20.8bn from 39 nations and territories, taking Binh Duong into one among 5 localities nationwide ranking first in foreign investment attraction.
Building of industrial parks creates impetus for development. Meanwhile, areas adjoining industrial parks also enjoy stable growth. In addition, development of industrial parks opens business ways for local residents. Many of them invest in business, lodging house and more.
Nguyen Van Muoi Nghe, the owner of a wide house in quarter 2, Hoa Phu ward, Thu Dau Mot city, said that compared with farmer life of yore, his family’s income increases 10 times with about VND50mn per month from boarding house business.
Especially, industrial parks near historic sites such as Iron Triangle tunnel, Đ war-zone and more have lured numerous local and foreign investors. Industrial parks in rural areas have helped localities develop strongly. Therefore, many shopping malls and service areas as well as system of road, school and medical station have emerged constantly, meeting local residents’ demand.

Memories of heroic lands such as Iron Triangle tunnel, Thuan An Hoa war-zone, Đ war-zone, Phuoc Thanh, Dau Tieng, Bau Bang and Dat Cuoc victories and more are engraved in local residents’ mind.
Looking back Binh Duong’s development stage, we could realize local leaders’ motivation and creation in setting out policies of taking Binh Duong from an agricultural province to an industrial locality.
Until now, the province wins a 47 fold increase in of industrial production value, a 49 time rise in export turnover, over 39 time increase in budget collection and more. Till the end of 2014, the provincial average income won VND95.5mn per capita. The impressive figure reflects effort of the local party committee, authority and people.
In reality, implementing the renewal, the local administration upholds maximum advantages to help Binh Duong economy reach a strong growth. With will and determination, Binh Duong administration mobilizes general strength of people, takes advantage of internal and external strength to reach the set goals of economic development.
As a result, after nearly 30 years of renewal Binh Duong has developed rapidly and sustainably, deserving an industrial city.
