After 36 years of the Southern Liberation Day and National Unification, especially after over 14 years of Binh Duong provincial re-establishment, the locality has emerged as exemplary province in local and foreign investment attraction. The province now has numerous industrial parks and wide traffic routes, facilitating investors’ business whilst Binh Duong New City has emerged grandiose works.

Binh Duong has presently changed every day like a miracle. The province now has 28 IPs with the total area of over 9,093ha, of which 24 IPs under operation. Besides, the locality has 8 industrial compounds with the area of about 600ha, 3 of which are under tenancy 5 others under compensation and site clearance.

As of the 1st quarter of 2011, the entire province lured 12,525 local projects, capitalized at VND88,500bil and 2,012 foreign projects, capitalized at US$13,872mil.
A breakthrough from industrial parks has changed the local image. Thu Dau Mot town has become a land of shopping malls whilst Ben Cat and Tan Uyen district have showed advanced traffic and urban network, Dau Tieng and Phu Giao districts have possessed immense rubber plantations, orchards. Binh Duong has lured over 700,000 laborers across country. The laborers consider the province as their second homeland.
The miracle of industrial park development has made a change of traffic and urban areas. Routes of National Highway No.13, DT741, DT743, DT745… and belt routes have gradually emerged and a National Highway No.13 on air will create a perfect traffic network.
Visiting the province, many guests inside and outside of the country said that Binh Duong’s miracle is from confidence on a heroic land. The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung at a reception with Lao Cai provincial delegation said that Binh Duong’s success is thanks to hi-unity from the whole political system and local residents.
Impression on a new city
Visitors are surprised by Binh Duong New City’s development. In a visit to the province, the NA vice chairman Nguyen Duc Kien affirmed ‘Binh Duong New city’s foundation shows a development of industrialization and modernization, contributing to local and national socio-economic growth. The new city will become an industrial city and modern urban center, promising an abundance of goods and manpower’.
It is sure that along with local leaders’ attention and hi-unity of local residents, Binh Duong New City will show its development in a short time. At that time, the new city will be an important place to help the province develop more.
