The Trade Union of Binh Duong Water Supply, Drainage and Environment One-Member Co.Ltd. (Biwase) has just forwarded its 8th congress for the 2012 and 2014 tenure.
Nguyen Thi Dien, chairwoman of Biwase’s Trade Union said that thanks to the integral efforts by its staff, Biwase well fulfilled its set targets in the last tenure. Particularly, Biwase developed more than 72,000 clients with 2011’s total revenue reaching more than VND479bln, up VND76bln compared to that of 2010. The company’s revenue in the first half of the year was estimated at more than VND268bln; the ratio of water loss reduced to 8.2%...
In the last tenure, 100% of staff herein got labor deals. The company also spent more than VND811mln on buying protective equipment for its staff; provided nearly VND1.2bln in loan for 177 needy cases...In addition, the company and its Trade Union jointly built 10 gratitude and charity houses worth VND300mln; mobilized all staff to raise money to the program of “Contributing stones to build Truong Sa”, “Sentimental nets for fishermen on Hoang Sa, Truong Sa”, Agent Orange victims, tsunami-hit victims in Japan…
On this occasion, Biwase’s Trade Union was awarded the certificate of merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Many individuals also received the certificates of merit from provincial Labor Union for their good performance in 2012’s trade union task
