In his report at the meeting, Nguyen Van Thien, CEO of Biwase stated that in 2024, Vietnam's economy faced many challenges domestically and externally. Nevertheless, the company’s Board of Directors proactively identified timely solutions to overcome difficulties. Although profits didn’t reach expectations, due to the main reason being fluctuations in the USD exchange rate, most of the company's production and business plans and targets were basically completed.

Thanks to strong determination and efforts, most of the company targets were met or exceeded as outlined in the resolution of the 2024 annual shareholders’conference. Specifically, Biwase recorded VND 4,387 billion in total revenue, VND 568 billion in post-tax profit, VND 2,562 billion in water revenue with a water loss rate of just 4.8%. Notably, in 2024, Biwase Long An successfully issued a bond package worth VND 700 billion at a fixed interest rate of 5.5% per year, the most competitive bond interest rates in the capital market today.

With these achievements, Biwase continued being honored with several prestigious awards such as the “Outstanding M&A Deal of 2023–2024” award and inclusion in Forbes (USA) magazine’s “Top 50 Best Listed Companies in Vietnam 2024”. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Biwase has been the sole representative of Vietnam’s water industry to receive this recognition, thanks to its consistent and sustainable growth…

At the conference, shareholders approved the company’s business plan for 2025. Accordingly, Biwase has set a target of achieving VND 4,760 billion in total revenue, 220 million cubic meters in commercial water output, striving to increase by over 20,000 new customers, maintaining the water loss rate of below 4.8%, paying dividends of 12%–13% of charter capital…
