Expanding development space
As one of the province's key traffic projects inaugurated and put into use on September 23, the 48km-long Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang Moc road with a total investment of over VND 3,800 billion is expected to open up new development space, connecting traffic between industrial parks, urban areas, and services in the northern localities with the southern localities of the province and the region, creating new momentum in the development process of the province.

Also on September 23, the province held the inauguration and put into use the Bach Dang 2 bridge project. The project has a total length of 2.8km, the bridge section across the Dong Nai River is 410m long, 17m wide with 4 lanes, with a total investment of nearly 491 billion VND. The construction of an additional bridge across the Dong Nai River contributes to completing the inter-provincial transport system in the Southern Key Economic Zone; at the same time, expanding the space for urban development, trade and services for the two provinces of Binh Duong and Dong Nai; open new connections for Binh Duong province to key national traffic routes such as National Highway 1, National Highway 51, expressways, etc.

Implementing with the spirit of "urgency and initiative"
Implementing the 2024 public investment plan, with the spirit of "urgency and initiative", from the beginning of the year, the provincial People's Committee has drastically and synchronously deployed tasks and solutions for departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and cities to organize implementation. The provincial People's Committee has organized conferences to accelerate the progress of implementing key projects in the province; organized the signing of agreements and launched emulation movements to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital. In order to soon complete key traffic projects, provincial leaders regularly inspect and survey the projects, direct relevant units to urgently and promptly remove difficulties and speed up the implementation progress.
In addition, in order to concentrate and mobilize maximum resources to carry out tasks and solutions to promote the disbursement of public investment capital under the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee, and the provincial People's Committee have issued a 50-day and night peak plan to compete for public investment disbursement in 2024; issued a document on the implementation of the "500-day and night peak competition to complete 3,000km of expressway" launched by the Prime Minister. The year 2025 is of special importance, being the final year of implementing the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan (SEDP) 2021-2025, and at the same time the year focusing on organizing Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, accelerating the implementation of the Binh Duong provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. Specifically, the province will speed up the progress of the projects of Vanh Dai 3 and Vanh Dai 4 of Ho Chi Minh City passing through the province, the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway, the Saigon riverside road, An Tay port, An Son port, upgrading National Highway 13.
