Thanks to the efforts by authorities at all levels, Bau Bang district’s economy over the past time reached vigorous development. Noticeably, many large-scale industrial parks were put into operation, paying the way for the local breakthrough.
High growth maintained
With a favorable position plus fast urbanization, industrialization and modernization, Bau Bang district absorbed many investment projects with great capital over the past time. Kazunori Uetsuji, General Director of Atago Vietnam One-Member Co.Ltd. said that his company decided to select Bau Bang industrial park for investment as it is capable of meeting necessary needs of the company’s project.

According to leaders of the district’s People’s Committee, the district in 2019 bent on instructing sectors and localities to carry out socio-economic development in association with 4 action programs of provincial Party Committee and 7 breakthrough programs of the local Party Committee. As a result, the district’s economy continued gaining high growth. Noticeably, the district’s industrial production value was more than VND17trillion, up 23% compared to 2018.
Under the program on sustainable industrial development for the 2016-2020 period, the district coordinated with Becamex IDC to further build the expanded Bau Bang industrial park with 1,000 hectares in Lai Uyen town, Cay Truong 2 commune and Dau Tieng district’s Long Tan commune, bringing its total area to more than 3,200 hectares.
The district is also hastening the progress of expanding Cay Truong industrial park, Lai Hung industrial park…Once being completed, they will bring the district’s land for industrial manufacture to 3,342 hectares.
Continuing effectively taking solutions

Le Khac Tri, Chairman of the district’s People’s Committee said that the district will further implement support policies for small and medium-sized enterprises under the instruction of the province; make investment promotion into existing industrial parks; fulfill compensation and site clearance in order to carry out the expanded My Phuoc-Bau Bang street with 1,000 hectares in the coming time. The district will also strengthen compensation and site clearance for the projects of North Tan Uyen-Phu Giao-Bau Bang main street, Cay Truong industrial park, Lai Hung industrial park…
With the goal of clean industrial development, the district has given priority to absorbing large-scale investment projects in line with provincial and local orientations; restricted industrial development outside industrial parks; continued promoting auxiliary industries for agricultural and industrial development, investment projects with new technologies…
Possibly seeing, the district’s industrial development has generated commodities with high economic value and created jobs for laborers. With achievements done plus good preparation in all aspects, it is believed that the district’s industrial manufacture will obtain more breakthroughs in the coming time.
