Bringing hi-quality Vietnamese goods to laborers

In a bid to promote the domestic market, implement solutions to stimulate domestic consumption, the province’s sector of industry and trade has just organized a market-day of Vietnamese goods in Ben Cat town’s Phu An commune, meeting laborers ‘demand for shopping, improving the quality of the “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign.

With diverse patterns and reasonable prices, domestic goods at the market-day received enthusiastic response from laborers in the region.

Phan Thi Khanh Duyen, Deputy Director of the Center for Investment-Trade Promotion and Industrial Development under provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) said that the market-day aimed to popularize and sell hi-quality Vietnamese goods with preferential prices, serving the demand for shopping of people and workers in Phu An commune and some neighboring localities. This was also a chance for enterprises to grasp the market’s demand, know more about customers ‘taste. Through the market-day, the local people and laborers got access to hi-quality Vietnamese goods with reasonable prices. The market-day also helped enterprises develop their distribution channels, contributing to stimulate consumption demand.

According to Do Huy Cuong, Manager of Nhieu Loc Co.Ltd. in Ben Cat town, the company coordinated with provincial DoIT to bring its agricultural products to people in the countryside through the market-day. The market-day also helped the company obviously know about customers ‘demand and domestic market’s potential in order to improve its production capacity for better development. Whilst, Luu Van Hai, Director of Dat Viet Production Joint Stock Company in Ben Cat town said that the main goal of the company at the market-day was to help laborers know ways to differentiate safe products and unsafe ones, ensuring their health.

Mobilizing enterprises to participate in market-days of Vietnamese goods

Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Vice-Chairwoman of  Phu An communal People’s Committee wanted that more and more enterprises will participate in the market-days of Vietnamese goods at people’s demand for shopping.

For better results, the organizers of the “Vietnamese goods” market-days need to strengthen propaganda work. Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee said that organizing the “Vietnamese goods” market-day in Ben Cat town’s Phu An commune aimed to further respond to the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” while creating favorable conditions for laborers to get access to hi-quality Vietnamese goods with reasonable prices.

Also according to her, the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” bears a practical significance amid Covid-19 pandemic seriously affecting all socio-economic fields. Organizing such market-days also aims to create the linkage between production-business facilities and enterprises in and out of the province.
