Have confidence in Vietnamese goods
In order to bring Vietnamese goods to the people, Trade Promotion Center of the province (Department of Industry and Trade) coordinated with People's Committee of districts, towns and cities to organize 11 market-days to bring Vietnamese products to rural areas and industrial clusters. In September and October, the center successfully organized 6 market-days in Ben Cat Town, Thuan An Town, Bau Bang District; On average, every market-day has about 20 participating enterprises, with 30 to 45 booths.
At market-days, 100% goods are domestically produced with clear origin, accompanied by many promotions, discounts... Goods at the market-days were mainly foodstuffs, essential products, clothing, footwear, and household appliances...
With a variety of models, reasonable prices, customers more and more favor Vietnamese products. Tran Kim Sang, Director of Kim Sang agricultural products joint stock company, said that the participation had provided an opportunity for the company to directly bring their products to consumers in rural areas. As a result, the brand name is increasingly well known, contributing to the stability of production and business activities of the company.
Pham Thanh Dung, Director of provincial Trade Promotion Center, said that the most prominent result of the campaign "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods" was not only creating a two-way interaction between enterprises and consumers in remote areas but also strongly changing the perception of the people, contributing to changing consumer behavior towards the priority of Vietnamese goods. In addition, people in rural areas also have the opportunity to purchase high quality goods produced by domestic enterprises.
To help stabilize the market
In addition to participating in programs organized by Department of Industry and Trade, in recent years, enterprises in the province also organized mobile sales in rural areas to best serve consumer’s needs, especially for Vietnamese goods. In this process, Binh Duong Co.opmart is one of the most active participants of the campaign "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese products", regularly organizes mobile sales of Vietnamese goods in rural areas.
Vu Thanh Truc, Director of Binh Duong Co.opmart 2 (TDM City), said that in addition to goods supplies, their supermarket system also focused on developing a distribution network of origin goods with good quality and reasonable price, especially of Vietnamese goods, to consumers. It is expected that on occasion of Lunar New Year 2018, Co.opmart would organize at least 160 mobile sales to rural areas in the province, serving the shopping need for Tet items of people in remote areas, workers in industrial zones.
Mr. Dung said that the campaign "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods" was a practical and important activity to raise people's awareness and interest in domestic products. Accordingly, businesses will have good conditions to meet and learn about consumption demands of workers in industrial parks, thereby promoting the brand, expanding distribution system and developing their market. The program of bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas and industrial clusters has brought good products and meet the consumption demand of the people.
