Provincial People’s Committee has issued the Plan No. 6408/KH-UBND to implement the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 72-KL/TW and the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 693/QĐ-TTg dated July 17, 2024. This plan focuses on developing synchronous infrastructure to advance Vietnam toward an industrialized nation with modern standards.
Accordingly, provincial People’s Committee has directed departments, agencies, district-level People’s Committees and relevant units to effectively implement the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 72-KL/TW and the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 693/QĐ-TTg dated July 17, 2024. The plan also requires integration with related programs and projects; strengthens propaganda, supervision, social criticism and mobilizes people from all strata to actively participate in building the province's more and more synchronous infrastructure system, contributing to making Vietnam be an industrial country with modern development. Specifically, they will continue effectively implementing the viewpoints, goals and orientations for socio-economic infrastructure development associated with national defense and security; proactively review, update and supplement development orientations for each specific industry and field at all levels of planning; promote the built infrastructure system, strengthening inter-regional and inter-provincial connections to create motivation for socio-economic development of the entire Southeast region; effectively use land, water, forest and other resources; urgently review and recommend the improvement of policies and laws related to the development of infrastructure systems associated with the goal of building modern industry by 2030, especially policies and laws on public investment, planning, public-private partnership, State budget, digital infrastructure development, digital economy, digital society...
They will also review and improve institutions, laws, mechanisms and policies associated with improving the quality of socio-economic infrastructure; research and propose to competent authorities to pilot models of public investment - private administration, province investment - public use for implementation when there are instructions; complete the urban development model associated with public transportation with transit oriented development (TOD); develop specific financial mechanisms for cultural and social infrastructure projects; participate in building mechanisms and policies to create conditions for leading large economic corporations with sufficient resources and modern management capacity to access and transfer advanced technologies in investment and construction for large infrastructure projects with important and strategic significance for the development of the province and the Southeastern region…; improve the efficiency of State management, decentralized administration to strengthen endogenous capacities, improve competitiveness, reach quick and sustainable development; focus on effectively mobilizing and using investment resources, creating new development momentum.
